After listening to Eleanor SCREAM because I took her out of the car, I told her to go to her room and come out when she was sweet...when she came out, this is what I found...
I told Eleanor to play while I made breakfast...this is what happened (and worse, it's how it still looks!)
And the worst thing...our craft store is going out of business, so Eleanor and I spent 1 hour going up and down every aisle! Nic is rollin' FOR SURE! But Nic! It was on Sale!!!
God I hope I get this down pat soon!!It appears I also suck at the copy and paste function right now...I'll have to try again later...

A child doesn't ask you for the square root of 197578 or the precise angle of an octagon. A child doesn't ask for a perfect parent, just a loving parent. With that said, you'll be just fine. The bags of crafts, I can't stop laughing. So cute. XOXO
Looks like you're doing a great job, Eleanor looks happy to me! And, sadly, my house looks like that most of the time. :-)
I know how hard and frustrating being a single parent can be, But we don't get perfec children and they don't get perfect parents. We both work our way through these relationships. Ultimately what we and they do get is a parent that loves them and as parents we get the love of our children and that is really what matters.
Like Sarah said, that's what my house looks like most of the time too. Honestly! You'll be a terrific mom, just like you were before. As for the messes, it's really not worth stressing over!!
Haha this is so cute Dana! You make me laugh :-)
I'm so sad Banner Crafts is going out of business...and well that's what my house looks like too. Such is life with a 2 year old.
I made the mistake of falling back to sleep yesterday after Jeff left for work. I ended up with the kitchen table set for "breakfast". There were bowls, cups, coasters, cookies. I finally jumped out of bed when I realized Eli was "home alone". He said Momma breakfast for you. We ate cookies and juice boxes for breakfast. Sometimes being a less than perfect parent can be fun.
She's cute, would you post a bigger picture of hers? I'm proud of single parents, how they handle life all their own. Keep it up! God Bless!

You are an amazing mother! You were when you were parenting with Nic and you still are now! Look how happy E is with those little fuzz balls (or whatever they are...) on her carpet. Just seeing her happiness should confirm what a great job you are doing. Also, I saw more window clings in the craft store bag...I'm really looking forward to watching you Lindsey argue over cling "window symmetry" this summer - LOL.
